Women Business Center of Mississippi

As the only U.S. Small Business Administration-funded Women’s Business Center in the state, we are a part of a national network of national centers designed to assist women in starting and growing their small businesses.  Through our services and programs, we help empower women to grow strong, sustainable businesses.

Women make up more than half of Mississippi’s population and earn less than men despite having equal education, so the Women Business Center of Mississippi is a major opportunity for women across Mississippi to access business tools necessary to achieve self-reliance. However, all are welcomed and encouraged to take advantage of the services that the center has to offer.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Women Business Center of Mississippi (WBCM) is to serve as the catalyst for providing in-depth, substantive, outcome oriented business services to entrepreneurs, both nascent and established businesses, a represented number of which are socially and economically disadvantaged.
